Our 55 Member organizations will gather in Washington DC for the 8th Consortium Meeting on January 15, 2020. With the recent release of the Global Roadmap of Action toward Sustainable Mobility (GRA) and six policy papers, the initiative established solid foundations for acting and engaging with countries on a comprehensive policy agenda for sustainable mobility. This 8th Consortium Meeting will open a new chapter for the initiative, with a focus in 2020 on “the GRA in Action”. Framed around the GRA, sessions will cover topics such as financing for action in cities, private sector commitments on road safety in the run up to the 3rd Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, and a country perspective on the sustainability ambition in transport. We will also launch five new workstreams in 2020 on components of the GRA, such as data sharing, sustainability of the e-mobility model, and gender data.
