SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY FOR ALL

New Report on Transport System Performances of 183 Countries Released!

Today the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) partnership is thrilled to announce the release of its new report “Mobility Performance at a Glance: Country Dashboards 2022.” The report is the second edition to the first edition, published in 2020 titled "Mobility Performance at a Glance: Country Dashboards 2020."

Mobility Performance at a Glance: Country Dashboards 2022 provides the tools and data basis to track the performance of countries’ transport systems worldwide and their progress toward delivering universal access, efficiency, safety, and green mobility. This is across all modes of transportation, including road, air, maritime, and rail.

This Report contains a wealth of information on transport systems around the world, including 183 countries’ transportation and mobility systems profiles. It uses the latest data available for 60 transport indicators from the Global Tracking Framework for Transport (GTF 3.0)—the leading global repository of country-level transport data and indicators.

In this Report, you will also find new estimates of the “sustainability gap,” by policy goal, for each country to enable the identification of priorities among transport issues, and an updated ranking of all countries around the world, based on their Global Sustainable Mobility Index (GSMI) scores.

By facilitating objective comparisons of transport systems among countries, we hope that Mobility Performance at a Glance: Country Dashboards 2022 will be a useful resource to support national debates on prioritization and formulation of transport strategies toward sustainable mobility.
