Since 2017, SuM4all has been advocating for sustainable mobility in international forums, with transport decarbonization as one of the four goals for transport systems to achieve globally. Thanks to our 56 member organizations, we have played a pivotal role in framing the policy knowledge around decarbonization and sustainability. This led to recognition by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as a champion of transport decarbonization in climate change action around the world. Our engagement at COP27 builds on a series of products, as outlined in this blog.

In anticipation of this COP, we ramped up our policy work on the Just Transition toward low-carbon development to influence global and country action on transport and sustainability. Thanks to our 56 Member organizations for their year-long effort to get us ready to engage with the international community on transport and climate change at COP27! Thank you for joining us at our publication launch events!
